David Yezzi
David Yezzi's latest collection of poems is Birds of the Air (Carnegie Mellon). A former director of the Unterberg Poetry Center at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, Mr. Yezzi has contributed poems and criticism to The New York Times Book Review, The Times Literary Supplement, The Wall Street Journal, The Paris Review, The New Republic, Poetry, The Yale Review, Poetry Daily, and elsewhere. A former Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford University, he is the author of Azores (Swallow Press), The Hidden Model (TriQuarterly), and the chapbook Sad Is Eros from Aralia Press.
