Calling all aspiring cultural critics: The New Criterion is seeking an editorial intern for the Fall 2012 term. If you have a background in college journalism, are interested in editing and writing, and would like to work for “America’s leading review of the arts and intellectual life” (in the words of the The Telegraph), then keep reading!

Interns here are involved in many aspects of the publishing process of the magazine's print and online versions. The internship is in our New York City office located near the Flatiron district and Union Square. Dates and hours are flexible.

Please send your resume and letter of interest to Associate Editor (and former intern!) Emily Esfahani Smith at smith[at]newcriterion.com no later August 15, 2012. Finalists will be contacted about interviews.
