If you follow Armavirumque, you have most likely heard of the Friends of The New Criterion. Already this season, the Friends program has hosted a symposium on music with William F. Buckley Jr. and Jay Nordlinger at Steinway Hall, an evening with Kenneth Minogue at the Grolier Club, book parties for Roger Kimball and Brooke Allen at the Grassi Studio, the opening of the Chicago chapter with Hilton Kramer, The New Criterion holiday party, a young friends reception in the editorial offices, a book party for David Fromkin at the Grolier Club, and The New Criterion poetry reading at the Cosmopolitan Club.

There are now three ways to become a Friend of The New Criterion, including member programs for New Criterion supporters in their 20s and 30s and for supporters living outside of the New York and Chicago areas.
