CUNY Panel

by Ellie Thermansen

Posted: May 16, 2007 01:32 PM

Last night’s panel at the CUNY Graduate Center was a great success. We were pleased to greet a full complement of new faces in addition to a large contingent of our stalwart supporters, and the panel of Roger Kimball and contributors Robert Bork, Anthony Daniels, Eric Ormsby, and Mark Steyn provided a wide variety of insights into the current state of the law, art, literature, and politics that certainly did not disappoint. For a full recap, you can find several attendees’ impressions of the evening here and here.

About ArmaVirumque

( AHR-mah wih-ROOM-kweh)

In the Aeneid, the Roman poet Virgil sang of "arms and a man" (Arma virumque cano). Month in and month out, The New Criterion expounds with great clarity and wit on the art, culture, and political controversies of our times. With postings of reviews, essays, links, recs, and news, Armavirumque seeks to continue this mission in accordance with the timetable of the digital age.
