Dec 22, 2006 01:30 PM Jeffrey Hart and President Bush by James Panero
For over a year we have been writing about Jeffrey Hart’s displeasure with the contemporary conservative movement. You can start here, with "The Burke Effect," Hart’s editorial in the Wall Street Journal, and follow the trail here, here, here, here, here, and here. I wrote the whole Hart story up for the January-February 2007 edition of the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine. The issue just came out. With the permission of the DAM editors, I have posted the full text of the profile to my personal weblog, Supreme Fiction. Clive Davis at Andrew Sullivan’s blog and Matthew Yglesias have already picked up on it. Thanks, guys! Click here for the complete article. The post also features Jeff’s response.
