Long live the Queen!

Who knows what will happen in the rest of Europe as the long saga of its capitulation--I mean its relation--to Islam unfolds, but if the recent behavior of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark is anything to go by, Denmark will by just fine. Quoth the Queen:

We are being challenged by Islam these years - globally as well as locally. It is a challenge we have to take seriously. We have let this issue float about for too long because we are tolerant and lazy.

We have to show our opposition to Islam and we have to, at times, run the risk of having unflattering labels placed on us because there are some things for which we should display no tolerance.

And when we are tolerant, we must know whether it is because of convenience or conviction.

Will Queen Elizabeth get behind this statement? Or how about her Prime Minister? Or Jacques Chirac? Or . . . well, you know the list. It’s nice to know that vertebrae are still being distributed in Denmark. I hope that other nations will live up to doughty Queen Margrethe. (Via the London Daily Telegraph).
