Hungry for poetry? The Great Neck Arts Center will be hosting The New Criterion’s David Yezzi next Sunday. David will be reading his poetry on March 18th at 2 p.m—at the Unterberg Poetry Center, David teaches a course on reading poetry, and further, his past experience as an actor ensures that he will be dynamic and vibrant on the stage. Be sure to make it to the Great Neck Village Hall at 2 p.m. to catch his performance! For ticketing information, follow this link.

Directions are below, courtesy of the Great Neck Arts Center.

Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE) to exit #33 (or Northern State Parkway to exit #25), Lakeville Road. Turn North and continue straight over Northern Boulevard. Lakeville Road then changes name to South Middle Neck Road. Continue straight in to the Village; you will start seeing commerce. The Gardens of Great Neck shopping plaza is on the left, and the Long Island Railroad train station is on the right. Make a left onto Cuttermill Road, first light after the train station. Very shortly, make the first right turn onto Gussack Plaza. The Village Hall is on the left, street level of the Municipal Parking Garage, where there is free parking on Sundays. There is also free parking in the lot in front of the village hall.
